Spirion LLC, the world’s foremost authority in data discovery, has launched its first data center in South Africa and third international data center in five months, reflecting a proactive approach to supporting global customers. It joins two other recently opened international Spirion data centers: Frankfurt, Germany.
The new Cape Town data center enables South African customers to meet local data sovereignty requirements and align with POPIA, ensuring sensitive data is managed in compliance with national regulations.

The new center allows local enterprises to manage growing data volumes effectively, leveraging Spirion’s advanced data classification and remediation capabilities.
Spirion has significantly upgraded its Sensitive Data Platform (SDP), with improved scanner node architecture for petabyte-scale analysis. This enhancement equips enterprises with the tools to discover, classify, and remediate sensitive data more effectively.
