PalmPay, a leading Africa-focused fintech with Nigeria’s most popular mobile wallet, has partnered with Jumia, Africa’s e-commerce giant, to enhance the digital payment landscape across the continent.

The partnership begins with integrated payment solutions and co-marketing efforts in Nigeria, enabling shoppers to seamlessly use their PalmPay wallet for Jumia purchases. This direct integration ensures a smoother checkout experience and reliable transactions.

Cashless economy

The collaboration aims to promote the adoption of digital payments and strengthen the cashless economy in Nigeria. Speaking on the partnership, Sunil Natraj, CEO of Jumia Nigeria, remarked, “This partnership with PalmPay strengthens our commitment to enhancing digital payments within our platform. By integrating PalmPay, we are providing more options for customers to access affordable and quality goods with the convenience of cashless transactions.”

This alliance marks the beginning of a long-term collaboration between the two industry leaders, aiming to drive innovation, enhance consumer convenience, and foster the adoption of digital payment solutions across Africa.

Jumia has multifold opportunities in the field of express logistics in last-mile delivery and line haul.
