Jumia Technologies AG, Africa’s leading e-commerce platform, has launched a 6,000-square-meter warehouse in Tema, Ghana.
The facility’s launch coincides with Jumia’s Black Friday campaign, running through November 2024, which is expected to attract significant consumer activity and benefit local businesses. It marks a significant step in enhancing its logistics and delivery capabilities in the country. The annual sales event offers local businesses a platform to reach more customers, boost sales, and create jobs.

The warehouse is positioned near key transport routes, to support streamlined logistics and nationwide distribution. This aligns with Jumia’s broader strategy to strengthen e-commerce growth and operational efficiency across Africa, following similar expansions in Nigeria, Morocco, Egypt, and Côte d’Ivoire.
This state-of-the-art facility features advanced infrastructure allows for streamlined operations and better order fulfillment, ensuring a superior shopping experience for Jumia’s customers. The Tema warehouse significantly enhances Jumia’s ability to store inventory, offering a wider product selection and supporting higher order volumes. By improving supply chain infrastructure, Jumia not only enhances customer convenience but also positions itself as a pivotal player in Africa’s growing digital economy.
