Jambojet has gone live with Octogen by Cargo Flash. The Octogen Cargo Management System is an advanced assemblage of the existing nGen software, further developed under Cargo Flash’s Octogo portfolio.

CMS was contracted to automate several of their cargo management processes. According to the deal Cargo Flash will deliver the Executive Package of Octogen CMS broadly classified into the Reservation System (RES), and Cargo Revenue Accounting (CRA) alongside some significant add-ons. The package includes Customer Management, Cargo booking & Rating, Schedule Management, Stock Management, Tracking, AWB validation, To-up customer billing & Non-CASS Invoices, among others.

Modular-based cargo management system

“In addition to this, Cargo Flash has agreed upon delivering supports like Credit Management, Audit log, CASS Invoicing, Interline Billing, CRA AWB Audit, Accounting, and Smart Analytics as value-added services,” shared Poonam Faridi, business head of Octogen and continued, “Followed by our successful association with Kenya Airways, we are thrilled to join hands with Jambojet as well. We aim to further penetrate the African market and bolster its Air Cargo ecosystem with our digital solutions.”

The recently introduced Octogen is a modular-based cargo management system catering to the entire air cargo domain, globally, especially the airlines. Octogen allows the customer to choose from the list of modules that are required as per their business needs and pay only for the processes, which they pick for the implementation.

Through Octogen, Cargo Flash will allow Jambojet, a subsidiary of Kenya Airways, to scale up its cargo sales & operation whilst enlarging its network furthermore. Both Cargo Flash Infotech and Jambojet perceive more prospects by coming together to discover the advanced-level experience with the new-age technology system in the cargo aviation industry.
