Hermes Logistics Technologies (HLT) has successfully upgraded the cargo management system at Cairo International Airport for CACC Cargolinx, migrating their operations to HLT’s latest cloud-based SaaS platform.

This upgrade integrates all HLT solutions within Cairo Airport’s existing systems through custom-built APIs, marking a major step forward in CACC Cargolinx’s digitalisation journey. Key additions include Hermes Business Intelligence and Track & Trace apps, providing agents and shippers real-time data insights and shipment tracking with advanced drill-down capabilities.

Learning Management System

To ensure seamless adoption, CACC Cargolinx staff received training via HLT’s award-winning Learning Management System (LMS), helping them maximize the potential of these new tools. According to Yuval Baruch, CEO of HLT, this upgrade showcases the power of the Hermes SaaS Ecosystem in transforming air cargo handling. Ahmed Fahmy, CTO of CACC Cargolinx, echoed these sentiments, noting that Hermes 5 SaaS will significantly enhance operational efficiency, data visibility, and customer service quality.

This initiative underscores CACC Cargolinx’s dedication to digital transformation and positions them as a leader in cargo handling. The Hermes Ecosystem will equip them with robust tools for growth, agility, and a superior customer experience.

“This project is an excellent example of how the Hermes SaaS Ecosystem works to enhance operations and drive digitalisation in the air cargo industry. CACC Cargolinx has demonstrated tremendous commitment to digitalisation, and the Hermes SaaS Ecosystem will empower them to operate with greater efficiency, agility, and visibility, ultimately providing a better experience for their customers,” said Yuval Baruch, CEO of Hermes Logistics Technologies.
