FIFA has appointed Rock-it Cargo, a Global Critical Logistics (GCL) company, as the Official Logistics Provider for the FIFA World Cup 2026™, which will take place across 16 Host Cities in Canada, Mexico, and the USA from June 11 to July 19, 2026. This partnership marks a significant step for the tournament, which is expanding to 48 teams and 104 matches, requiring advanced logistical coordination.

Role and objective

Rock-it Cargo was selected after a competitive request-for-proposal process due to its proven expertise in managing logistics for large-scale sporting and entertainment events. The company will handle; customs and international freight forwarding, warehouse and distribution operations, on-site operations at venues, including the International Broadcast Centre and team equipment management.

Mattias Grafström, FIFA Secretary General, praised Rock-it Cargo for its attention to detail, teamwork, and global operational model, which align with FIFA’s ambitions for this expanded tournament. Services will begin in 2025 with logistics support for the new FIFA Club World Cup™, spanning 11 cities. The partnership will scale in 2026, encompassing broader responsibilities for the World Cup.

Rock-it Cargo’s North American infrastructure and operational experience aim to streamline services for FIFA’s partners, vendors, and broadcasters, enhancing sustainability. Daniel Rosenthal, CEO of GCL, expressed pride in being trusted for this prestigious role, emphasizing Rock-it Cargo’s legacy of delivering high-profile events with meticulous planning and execution.
