Etihad Cargo has joined forces with the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO) and Maqta Technologies Group, a subsidiary of AD Ports Group, to enhance the Advanced Trade and Logistics Platform (ATLP). ATLP, which was introduced by Maqta Technologies in May 2020, serves as Abu Dhabi’s central trade platform, connecting services across air, land, sea, and industrial free zones. The platform was established to position Abu Dhabi as a key global trade and logistics hub.
The latest updates to ATLP aim to simplify the export rate calculation and booking processes for air shipments. These improvements are expected to increase operational accuracy and efficiency, benefiting logistics providers by enhancing the overall user experience.
Real-time access
Additionally, logistics companies will now have real-time access to Etihad Cargo’s global customer network, allowing them to view available capacity and pricing instantly, which will help streamline booking decisions.
As part of this enhancement, both Etihad Cargo and Etihad Airport Services will be integrated into ATLP, creating a more connected and efficient logistics ecosystem. Stanislas Brun, Vice President of Cargo at Etihad Cargo, highlighted that this partnership reflects the company’s commitment to providing innovative and customer-focused solutions to optimize air cargo operations. Dr. Noura al Dhaheri, CEO of Maqta Technologies Group, emphasized that the collaboration will accelerate air trade and reinforce Abu Dhabi’s status as a global trade and logistics center.
