Dawit Woubishet, President of EFFSAA, confirmed the report and expressed pride in Ethiopia and Africa hosting such a prestigious event. Set to take place in Addis Ababa, this marks a milestone in FIATA’s history, being held in Ethiopia’s capital, a hub of culture, growth, and international diplomacy. The event is expected to attract over 800 industry experts and will focus on crucial topics such as sustainability, digitalization, and infrastructure development in Africa. This Congress is seen as an opportunity to highlight Ethiopia’s contributions to logistics and showcase its capacity to connect Africa with the rest of the world.

“We are honoured and thrilled to have been given this extraordinary opportunity to host such a globally recognised event. The FIATA World Congress has been hosted in various global regions, and bringing it to Africa underscores the increasing importance of our continent in global trade and logistics,” said Dawit Woubishet.
