Colis.ma, a Moroccan logistics startup focused on cross-border delivery, has raised $300,000 in pre-seed funding from Witamax, a private venture capital firm.
This capital injection will enable the company to extend its reach in Morocco’s major regions and across six European countries, with an eye on expansion into West Africa as its first step into the continent. Founded in 2022 by CEO Issam Darui, Colis.ma has achieved remarkable growth, delivering over 50,000 parcels to more than 55 destinations and recording a 380% increase in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) in 2023, fueled by fivefold growth in the past year.

The company’s services cater to individuals with connections between Morocco and Europe, as well as SMEs in sectors like cosmetics, artisanal goods, and organic products. By collaborating with partners, Colis.ma aims to provide improved services and connect more SMEs to European markets. With plans for an additional fundraising round in early 2026, Darui envisions the startup as a major player in logistics between Africa and Europe, capitalizing on technological innovations in an evolving industry.
Before this pre-seed funding, Colis.ma had secured $50,000 from The Baobab Network accelerator and a $45,000 grant in February 2024. Colis.ma’s growing presence in the logistics sector aligns with competitors like Logidoo, a Moroccan logistics startup established in 2019. Logidoo raised $1.55 million in seed funding in February 2024 and later received a $50,000 grant in July to develop AI-driven logistics solutions aimed at streamlining operations across Africa.
