Asky Airlines announced resumption of flights between Lomé, Togo, and Pointe Noire, Congo, with a stopover in Luanda, Angola.
The Lomé-based Pan-African airline service was reinstated after a four-year suspension due to low passenger demand. Asky now operates three weekly flights on this route—on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
Expansion strategy
This reopening marks a significant step for the airline, which is close to reaching its goal of serving 30 destinations across West and Central Africa. The resumed flights are also expected to boost traffic at Lomé’s airport, contributing to its target of reaching 1.5 million passengers by 2025.
To support its modernization and expansion strategy, Asky acquired a new aircraft on October 1, 2024, replacing its oldest plane. As part of this plan, the airline intends to add two new planes to its fleet annually and expand to two new destinations each year.
ASKY Airlines is a private multinational passenger airline serving West and Central Africa, with its head office in Lomé, Togo, and its hub at Lomé–Tokoin International Airport.
