Agility Logistics Ltd has officially transitioned to Alliad Kenya, marking a pivotal stage in its growth strategy. The rebrand signifies the company’s intention to broaden its service offerings beyond supply chain and logistics to include large-scale construction, engineering, facility management, and support services.
This shift aims to provide more comprehensive solutions to meet the evolving needs of clients while reinforcing Alliad Kenya’s position as a key player in the African market. Alliad Kenya has experienced significant growth over the years and now serves more than 100 clients across various industries.
According to Stephen Wanyama, the company’s Chief Executive, Kenya’s strategic location makes it a vital entry point for business operations in East and Sub-Saharan Africa. Its extensive infrastructure, including warehouses and facilities in Nairobi, enhances its capacity to deliver integrated solutions efficiently across the continent.
Expansion strategy
The company’s expansion strategy focuses on strengthening local partnerships and supporting the regional supply chain ecosystem. Alliad Kenya has maintained a 98% local employment rate with a workforce of 250 employees and established strong ties with over 100 local businesses. Through regular supplier forums and training programs, the company is helping local suppliers meet global safety and compliance standards, thereby creating a more resilient and competitive business environment.
Building on its success in Kenya, Alliad Kenya is looking to extend its reach across the continent. Operations in Uganda and Cote d’Ivoire have already shown positive outcomes, and the company plans to apply these lessons to other African markets. By empowering local suppliers and fostering economic development, Alliad Kenya aims to become a leading provider of integrated logistics and support services across Africa.
