Magma Aviation strengthened its global presence in 2024 through strategic expansions and partnerships. The company established its new global headquarters in Dublin, a crucial move given that approximately 50% of the world’s aircraft are leased from Ireland. This strategic location enables Magma Aviation to develop stronger relationships with leasing companies and enhance its market position.

“To grow the company’s network, it is essential to strengthen our position here,” explained Peter Kerins, CEO of Magma Aviation.

Further extending its global footprint, Magma Aviation also expanded its commercial presence in the East by opening a new office in Dubai. This expansion allows the company to focus on growth in Southeast Asia, the Indian subcontinent, and China, key regions for air cargo demand.

As Magma Aviation approaches its 15th anniversary, Kerins reflected on its remarkable journey: “Given Magma Aviation’s growth over the years, I believe our most valuable asset has always been our people. Now, with the strength of Avia Solutions Group behind Magma Aviation, the future looks very promising.”

The air cargo industry experienced a notable surge in 2024, with demand rising by 11.3% from the previous year, reaching unprecedented volumes. Meanwhile, cargo capacity grew by 7.4% year-over-year, driven by a 9.6% increase in international operations.

Looking ahead, Magma Aviation aims to secure multiple aircraft and expand its fleet by Q3/Q4 2025. With its enhanced capabilities, strategic partnerships, and expanded global presence, the company is well-positioned for continued growth and success in the competitive air cargo market.
