The theme of this year’s Pan-African Poultry Conference is ‘Competitiveness and inclusiveness of the value chains of the poultry sector in Africa’. It will bring together specialists, industrialists, trainers, and researchers in the field of poultry from various backgrounds to discuss the challenges of poultry production in Africa.

This meeting of international scope aims to bring together more than 300 participants and actors in the poultry sector from many countries in Africa and beyond. The 5 main themes are:

Environment and poultry production systems

Diet, nutrition and metabolism

Reproduction and incubation

CERSA is a center of excellence based at the University of Lomé. The World Bank funds its poultry-related activities aimed at improving food security. It is worth noting the first edition of the PPC was also held in Togo, in 2019.
